B.1. THE BOARDING STAFF

The society is lead by Mr. Ipate Catalin together with his team of managers, Corporate Manager Mr. Despoiu Catalin, Sales Manager Mr. Caragea Ovidiu and Logistic Manager, Mr. Ipate Bogdan.

B.2. THE COMPANY’S STAFF

The commercial society has got already assembled a team of sale agents who have been determined to become loyal by an attractive programme of payment. Within Slik Impex SRL work a number of 70 persons. The society’s organization chart stipulates the existence of 3 divisions, the dividing criteria being the dimension of product offering and the modality of distribution of the concerned clients. So, the Corporate Manager has got under his coordination the wholesale centers and the bakery division and the Sales Manager has got in his coordination the sale teams from the two working centers: Buzau and Braila, together with the services of sales book and sale analysis. The delivery agents and the whole car park are making the preoccupation aim of Logistic Manager. The book-keeping financial department includes 3 persons, from whom one chief book-keeper.

C. DESCRIPTION OF THE CURRENT ACTIVITY

1. Description of the activity
The company has been set up in 1994 and ever since there haven’t been any modifications concerning the stock-holding.
Slik Impex SRL has got in its activity domain:
- the food product trade – represents 70% from the total activity;
- the petl food sale – 20% from the sales;
- the detergent trade – represents 10% from the total activity.

The food products delivered are : pasta, flour, sugar, oil, vegetable tins and animal origin ingredient tins, juices, yeast, margarine, biscuits, etc

At the wholesales centers is sold detergent, Dero Lever and Procter & Gamble trade marks.

One remarks the experience of the society in the delivery domain by the contracts which this one has agreed with producers acknowledge on the market:
- Rompak (Pakmaya trade mark)
- Master Foods (Mars, Snickers, Bounty, Twix chocolate bars and Whiskas, Pedigree, Chappi, Kitekat animal food)
- Agrana Zucker (Margaritar and Coronita trade marks)
- Overseas Group (Baneasa and La Grande Famiglia trade marks)
- Cargill Romania (Untdelemn de la Bunica)
- Scandia Sibiu (Sibiu, Bucegi, Traditii and Sadu trade marks)
- La Festa International (Tedi, Tymbark, Duo Fruo, Carotella and Ciao juices).

The society’s experience in the delivery domain and the good results, have facilitated the obtaining of the approval by the producers for delivering on extended covering zones, for example Ialomita, Calarasi, Vrancea counties, to which is delivered from the warehouse in Buzau and Braila, Galati and Tulcea counties, covered by the warehouse in Braila.

The society has six working centers:
o two rented stalls in the Omi Expo wholesale complex, Transilvaniei Street, Buzau. The complex presents a level of attractivity over average for the clients because it is the oldest wholesale complex from the city and where Slik has two stalls which sum 400 square metres
o warehouse and offices in Buzau, Bazalt Street, company’s property
o warehouse company’s property designated for depositing book-keeping archives situated in Maracineni, Buzau
o warehouses Slik’s property situated in Buzau, 15 Bazalt Street. The utilizable surface of each of the warehouses is over 2000 square metres, the whole utilizable surface. This warehouses were arranged and extended after the date of acquisition, during 2003. Part of the depositing surface was arranged as a refrigerator warehouse (~ 100 square metres) and a freezer (~100mp) . This market places for stocking are equipped with a surveillance camera system and an electronic sistem for monitoring the temperature.
o The branch in Braila, 21 Imparatul Traian Street, warehouses and offices summing over 500 square metres
The company’s auto park sums 37 autos from which 17 utility vans (7 Ford Transit, 1 Renault Master, 1 Iveco and 8 Dacia Pick-up). None of the utility vans is over 2,5 tons utilizable weight and are partially under GPS surveillance .

The company has a portfolio of over 2200 clients in all oh the covered counties.
The financial administration is held computerized by the company’s financial and book-keeping services, using a local program (SAVA). For the financial administration activities is used the E-con program working on the Oracle data base. The sales are automated, so the agents have a permanent real situation of the stocks, and sales by using Pocket PCs.

In order to enhance costumers satisfaction we certified our organization ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 since December 2006.

2. The company’s main suppliers are:
- Rompak SRL – with this supplier we have been working since 1998, supplies yeast; represents 15% from the total of suppliers;
- Scandia Romana SA - with this supplier we have been working since 2000 and represents 10% from the total of suppliers;
- La Festa International – juice, hot chocolate, coffee milk producer, represents 20% from the sales;
- Agrana – with this supplier we have been working since 2001; supplies cubic, powder an crystal sugar; represents 20% from the sales;
- Master Foods Romania – with this one we have been working since 2002, representing 25% from the total of suppliers.

D. THE CURRENT MARKET

1. Clients: The company has a portofolio of over 2000 clients all over the covered area.

The activity domain of the company determines a sustained competition, being motivated that, at least, maintain the rate on the market and obtain better delivering conditions from the suppliers. In fact, the company’s financial analysis shows that it has been increasing its rate on the market.
In comparison with the other rival companies, Slik Impex SRL has a more aggressive attitude due to the professional team of it. More over, Slik has a various range of products in comparison with the rival companies.
